Many other school districts around here (York County, PA) have done the same. What a shame to destroy these grand old buildings! I used to take my Photography students on a walking field trip to our admin building to take architectural shots! I agree; it is sad that buildings of that p...Larry,<br />I agree; it is sad that buildings of that period are few in number as consolidations occurred throughout the 1960s-70s. I was raised in a small Indiana town that had a similar structure for its school building. It was demolished around 1994. They sold the bricks for donations to the local fire department I think. I got one but for the life of me, I don't know where it got to. I've moved a few times since then. A great post, Larry; thanks for sharing.
